Aficionados is a specialist online retailer of premium and super-premium liquor products to 'aficionados' and other discerning consumers. Our aim is to offer the widest range of premium products in South Africa through our secure and hassle-free online service, and to deliver to your door as quickly as is humanly possible.

We have the widest range of premium single malt and blended whiskies including Scotch, Irish, American, Canadian, Japanese, South African and French – you may be pleasantly surprised by the number of whiskies that are available in South Africa. Still, this is only a fraction of the world’s whisky products and we will continue to work with our suppliers to bring more and more of them to you.

Also in our product range are a number of Cognacs and other premium brandies from South Africa and France, as well as a handful of interesting tequilas, vodkas, gins and liqueurs. We recently added a comprehensive range of Champagnes and equally fine South African methode cap classique. We will continue to expand the selection of products in these categories, and hope to add rums, absinthe and wine in the not too distant future. Customers have the choice of paying by direct/internet deposit or credit card. Credit card transactions are processed through a secure online payment gateway approved by our bank, and credit card details are not entered onto, or ‘seen’ by our site at all. Delivery usually takes between 2 and 5 working days depending on product availability and the delivery address. We take responsibility for the parcel until it is signed for at the delivery address – you don’t have to worry about the parcel getting damaged or lost on its way to you (please see our Terms and Conditions for full details).
