Can I place an order without opening an account?

Yes you can. Please note that when placing an order you will still need to provide us with sufficient information to allow us to process and deliver the order. We will also need to retain this information so as to be able to follow up on your order, inform you of progress with the order and respond to any queries that you might have.

We do however recommend that customers register with us before placing an order. The obvious advantage of this is that you wont have to repeat the capturing of your billing and delivery information each time you order.

Can I place an order as a gift for someone else?

Yes, you can. Simply tick the 'This is a gift' box on the Checkout page and the gift section of the page will appear. Fill in your preferences regarding gift wrapping and the card and then continue as you would with any other order. Don't forget to fill in the recipient's details in the delivery address section.

It is possible to arrange corporate gifts (to multiple recipients) through Aficionados?

Yes it is. For small numbers of gifts you can place separate gift orders through the website. For larger numbers please feel free to call or e-mail us to discuss corporate gift arrangements.

Will a tax invoice be issued if a purchase is made by a company?

A tax invoice is issued in respect of all purchases. If you would like the tax invoice to reflect your company name and VAT registration number please be sure to provide this information during the checkout process.

Can I order for delivery outside of South Africa?

Unfortunately not. Due to liquor license considerations and arrangements with some of our suppliers we are not currently delivering to addresses outside of South Africa.
